Tourist/Business Visa: No visa required if the stay is less than 90 days in any 6 months for tourism or business.

Spain is part of the Schengen area, Visa has to be done directly as we do not assist with Schengen visa application.

Visa Validity 90 days from the date of issue
Duration of stay Upto 90 days
Documents required
  • Valid passport
  • Document justifying the accommodation establishment or an invitation letter from an individual, if staying at his home, issued by the Police Station corresponding to his place of residence.
  • Day by day itinerary to show the length of stay in each schengen country
  • Confirmation of the booking of an organized trip with itinerary.
  • Return ticket or tourist circuit
  • Letter of leave from employment or school confirming return date.
    Proof of funds ie. last 3 months bank statements with minimum Euro 65 per day
  • Business letters from NZ & Spanish companies if travelling on business.
  • Parent consent , stamped by a Notary Public if under 18 along with certified copy of parent’s passport & applicant’s birth certificate
E-Visa fees
  • NZ$102 (changes frequently) by bank cheque.
  • Free for dependants/spouses of EU nationals.
  • This Embassy only accepts payment by Bank Cheque (payable to Embassy of Spain) or cash
